Entra ID — Microsoft Entra ID

The current name (since 2023) for what was Azure Active Directory — Microsoft's cloud identity and access management service. Authenticates users for Microsoft 365 and Azure, integrates with thousands of SaaS apps via SAML/OIDC, and provides conditional access, MFA and identity governance.

Tiers: Free (basic), Premium P1 (conditional access, MFA), Premium P2 (Identity Protection, PIM). P1 is included in Business Premium and M365 E3; P2 in M365 E5.
